Hi, 23F here, have been eyeing a lady datejust 28 for my graduation but have been told to put myself on the interest list by THG, Cortina, Palace etc when we all know the interest list is bs. it’s a mere Ladies model Ref 279381RBR yet I’ve been waiting for months to no avail. I haven’t seen this model on the grey market either and I don’t want to buy 2nd hand too. Anyone with tips or able to help me get this watch pls PM me. I’m not interested in any other watch or building a journey for a sports / pro model. I personally prefer spending my money on bags and don’t see the appeal of most watches with the exception of this model so I’m only gonna have one watch for the next 10 years. TYIA.

279381RBR has a lot of variation by itself. To get the exact one that you want, the best is to put yourself on the list by the big ADs and wait a few months as this watch typically does not require a "Journey". Alternatively, find a friend/ someone who builds profiles with AD to help register the interest.

You can try those reputable grey market shops, walk around Lucky plaza and Bencoolen, and see if they can source it for you if you're okay with secondhand.

Unfortunately, even if you're only into bags, Chanel/ Hermes do the same thing for their popular bags.

I remember. Quite spot on. I think I was the one who also asked you reasons why you think Sep will be the month grey market prices starts going up. It is slowly inching up this month indeed.

With demand the journey is AD leading it.
AD how much u wanna make before selling me the watch, if they looking at is same as grey might as well go grey. Why paid much more to get those watches u don’t want and give AD an illusion they can sell other brands well. Have to beat them not cave into the tactics

AD or grey I think is really up to the individual needs and priorities. No right or wrong. I guess it also depends on the point of entry with AD relationship. Frankly speaking, it is a lot harder to start in 2022

Hey guys, I would like to know which Rolex AD is best for me if my target watches include Omega, JLC, PP, AP and Lange (last 3 being grail)...and of course Rolex. I started my journey with an AD who carries Tudor and Rolex only, and have been successful so far, and would now like to work on a "journey" towards the aforementioned brands. Thank in advance for your kind advice!

I‘m surprised a Calatrava can qualify for an Aquanaut. It used to be possible back in 2019-2020 but now no longer (in case of THG). Min for THG is AC. If Cortina can allow Calatrava to get Aquanaut, by all means proceed. Calatrava not difficult to attain. I think about 3-4 pieces per year per AD boutique
