I just got it now after I called them. But not the latest with speed test.
Build 240709 Rel.56868n
That's the latest firmware. You can find speed test in Aginet app under "More" > "Test Internet Speed" or web UI under "Basic" > "Network Map" look for "Speed Test" on top

Thanks. Now i no longer need to depend on 3rd party speed test app which is not that stable. I am online and yet the app mentioned that i am off line and do not have internet access.

No issues for me with the upgrade. In fact, it fixed a few niggles I have with the previous version. And the built-in speed test is nice. At least now I know if Starhub giving me the right speed (getting around 8 Gbps download, 7.5 Gbps upload so far which is acceptable). BTW, when is the "most" peak hours? Wanted to see if it's still performing the same

The 5G Wi-Fi connection has been unstable for me, with random disconnections occurring several times during my Zoom meetings today. How is your Wi-Fi speed on 5G and 6E? I’m currently getting around 500 to 800 Mbps during the daytime, whereas before the upgrade, I was able to achieve around 2 Gbps on Wi-Fi 6E.

updated sadly no improvement in memory, still show 48-60% load. fug tplink wasting our 2GB internals using software locks :o

speedtest the qualcomm soc, very good.

Nice built-in OOkla Speedtest results.
Qualcomm IPQ950/IPQ9574 is really much faster than the offersing from MediaTek (Filogic 880 MT7988A) and Broadcom (BCM4916).

Broadcom BCM4916 (used by Asus) is much slower so you may not hit above 4Gbps with the built-in SpeedTest.

Actually this speed test tool very helpful. Morning my speed test up and down so i shared my speed test history screen shot and asked CSO to escalate to Network Team. A few hours later i checked and noticed everything normal and stable. Good job. Resolve the issue remotely.

Just tested using the new built in speed test .results still not so good le.is starhub short changing me ?

You just need to screen shot your speed test and share it with 1633 CSO and ask them to escalate to network team. They will send sms link for you to upload your photo of speed test result. Just like what i did.
I was 8Gbps then 4Gbps and then 8Gbps again and then 4Gbps again in the morning. Now ok after i reported.

So far, I have encountered three issues with the new firmware:
  1. The router becomes unresponsive after some time, and I cannot access it via the web interface or the Aginet app, though the Wi-Fi network still works.
  2. The 5G network band is fixed to channel 44 with a width of 160 MHz, and I am unable to change these settings.
  3. Wi-Fi performance from the router to client devices is slower compared to the previous firmware version
I requested on-site support from SH, but I still have to wait for one more day.

I also noted the ch 44 bug. If you change 5G settings , it will always drop back to ch 44.

Thankfully i have saved settings before make any changes. So restoring works.

Take note upgraders to save your settings first.

@starhubbros fix the bug

Hello guys, looking to seek help.

I bought a new CAT7 cable and plugged one end into my PC and the other end into the LAN1 port on the EB810v, which should support up to 10Gbps. However, according to the TP-Link UI, I am only getting 1Gbps "Link Rate" or Negotiation speeds and not the 10Gbps I could "theoretically" get. Any way of changing the negotiation speeds? I am under Starhub's ultraspeed plan with 10Gbps, so I should be getting at least higher than 1Gbps no? Also, my EB810v has the latest firmware, Firmware Version:0.14.0 3.0.0 v608b.0 Build 240709 Rel.56868n. If anyone can help me, thanks in advance.

Is your PC LAN port a 10G port?

Hais... just checked after posting and unfortunately it only supports up to 1Gbps... my mistake LOL. Are there any recommendations on how to get more despite that? Are there USB to ethernet adapters that can do that?
