Happen to be at SLT this week and bought the Daiyo EU1701 at $42.
It more power than my existing Soundtech TVA-502AW. I placed the
Daiyo EU1701 behind the closed windows glass and able to get 100%
for all digital and hd5 channels.

I think as long as the antenna is facing the glass window, the reception will be good. You have 2 HDTV Digital Antenna? I'm thinking of getting a higher gain one. Daiyo EU1701 gain is 20db+-3db. I found one which is 96db.

I'm sure a lot of people are using the AVerTV Hybrid Volar HX.

I like to know how much does it cost? And to set it up? It is a usb stick right.

and i need to plug in the tv cable from the wall to get the reception?

That tiny antenna is as good as nothing. I try in my room, plug in or plug out no difference. :s13:

Interested to get the extra high gain 96db HDTV Digital Antenna? But it's more expensive than the tv tuner card. :s13:

No, using one HDTV digital Antenna for Secondary device. The other Primary device
using Starhub cable point. The signal quality from the Daiyo very good enough, as
I am able to get 100% signal quality for all digital channels.

If I buy a powered antenna then I can receive the analog signal better? Will this affect the digital signal?

Need the advice of IT experts here about TV tuners & TV tuning. I recently bought a desktop which comes with an internal TV tuner (Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1200). Scanned for TV signals and managed to only receive TV mobile. How to receive the other channels? I read this thread that some TV tuners only receive analog signals while others receive digital TV signals. How do I check whether my internal TV tuner receive which type of TV signals?

If you receive TVMobile then it is digital tv. there should be on the menu of the setup of wintv to choose to scan digital or analog tv.

your digital reception is bad, then try to adjust your antenna or put closer to the window

I am getting 100% quality signal But sometimes the image tends to pause for
1 seconds like that then resume normal. Happen in CH8 HD5 etc although not
very often - what can be wrong :s11:
