yeah i read abt u sharing some fire incidence and black smoke thus curious & keen to know what to avoid too :s13:

anyway yes its very common where brandless have zero consideration on brandings, reliability or safety in their products.
just look at some posts in here, 800W, 600W, <$4 200W.
anyone with some basic electrical or electronic gadgets knowledge would know its obviously some fake specs labelling, misleading advertising or skipping some important component(s) or alternative cheap part(s)

Example:
O1CN01PJwL4k1ntq2B2RdNr_!!2216654525148.jpg_q50s50.jpg_.webp

2.4A (shared 4 ports) most likely a 2.4a x 5V = 12W + 22W (shared 2 ports) = 35W charger, how its being labelled a 200W?
unlikely to have any protocol controller / ic chip to support any of the mentioned protocols too at that price
They will tell you "200W" is the brand/model of the charger.

No, LDNIO does not support Xiaomi Turbo Charge.
i have the LDNIO 140W and USB Tester meter thats capable of checking what protocols supported
For info, Mi turbo charging works on a very unique 6A, i.e 6A/11V 67W, 6A/15V 90W, 6A/20V 120W
your USB A output for xiaomi is most likely just a up to 2.5A/12.5V 30W but it displays a Static Turbo charging icon with 2 digits (no decimal point)
if u use typeC port thats capable of PPS or PD, most likely faster up to maybe 45W

Yes its confusing, especially when there are even several different type of normal, fast, quick, turbo charging animation for xiaomi (eg. Turbo Charging with 2 decimal points running vs Static 2 whole number Turbo charging)

In any case, from my personal experience, i love its design especially the plug adapters and current display per port.
But sadly its not a good quality brand to be recommended at all due to its high heat and its high occurrence of current leakage
I don't have the test meter. But when connected to the LDNIO, this is the message I get. For other generic charger, it's usually says Quick Charge. Only on this LDNIO and Redmi's own 120W charger then I get this image below,

depends on what u want to charge. if ur laptop is 65w.. and u decide to charge your phone.. your laptop may show message that not enough power to charge.

usually 65w is lightweight.. 100w is way heavier.

i had the 100w, can charge my laptop, ipad and powerbank.

Quote for truth, I got the 65W for my wife's laptop and frequently she will get the message about insufficient power to charge. However, still seems to charge anyway.

your 120w charger come with your phone right (not bought seperately, i.e your phone model supports 120w charging)?
u try use that and the original A-C cable (their original cable have extra pin & supports 6A) and u should see a different charging display with 2 decimal points running and probably a 67/90/120W shown

Ya man for my case is a cheapo shoe dryer bought from shopee that was turned on and my girl when to shower let it dry in the corner of her bedroom, within span of 5-10 mins thick black smoke engulf the whole room, I tried to go in to see what I can do like turn of the switch or throw a wet towel over it, but smoke so thick and black I gostan 2 times and told everyone to grab their phone and evac immediately, then I stay outside my unit and call 995. Have to say they arrive super fast within minutes and my block downstr got like 3-4 scdf vehicle and 3-4 mata chia, and u see the block opp and downstrs all curious looking what happened 😂
So take away is if can avoid cheapo bo brand electronic stuff esp heat emitting or power chargers all these
Were you charged for the fire fighting services?

So far I've been using:

UGreen 100W GAN charger with me for the past 2-4 years on field.

So far so good - paired with 2x 100W 2M cables from UGreen as well for my work backpack powering:
- monitor
- 2x laptops (alternate or both) - I do get the error but still charges

So far so good.

Another 100W UGreen also for my other half to power 2x laptop (alternate or both)
- I do get the error but still charges

I also purchased the Baseus 100W GAN charger as well.
- i prefer the UGreen - cos of size and form factor
- 2x USB C & 2x USB A (purchased cos of this)
- Baseus 1 for some reason - you plug anything in > it'll off and on the whole circuit on all ports

UGreen doesn't have this issue oddly.

I see. Yes I use the original 120w charger with orignal cable, I see 120w.
Original charger with 3rd party fast charging cable = > Mi Turbo Charge.
LDNIO Q366 with Original Cable and 3rd PArty cable = > Mi Turbo Charge.
Generic brand (Kuula, Aukey) with original cable and 3rd party fast charging cable => Quick Charge.

SO it seems my Redmi note 14 Pro Plus has three modes? 120W, Mi turbo charge and generic Quick charge. Are you saying the Mi Turbo Charge is just Quick Charge?

many modes aka protocols supported but not clearly shown
True mi turbo charge can go up to 67W 90W 120W
the mi turbo charge display is usually just on the universal PPS / PD charging protocol of 20-30W+, support by most chargers these days
old QC tech will be the 5/9/12v up to 20W
normal mode slowest up to 10W

See , previously moi alr touch on this

Looks like sooner or rater lappies sold here will be w/o chargers included too , so chiu all better bai now while price still good

:s13: :s13:

Looking at the trend of today , think sooner or later laptops will also go the way of "no charger included" out of box citing simi go-green and sustainablity bs

Esp now modern or latest/upgraded GAN chargers able to "bao ga liao" charge almost anything , paired with compatible charging cable of cos

In addition, laptop manufacturers are also required to offer an "unbundled" packaging option for their devices, which essentially means selling laptops without a charger. This measure is tasked with reducing e-waste and incentivizing the reuse of existing chargers.

Just need to know , there's a reason why XM and other Tiong fones who run on their individual proprietary charging are still providing chargers/cables

But sooner or rater , think they will also fully go the way of ifong and samseng

How you know is Gan 1 or 2
The size of the charger, quite obvious. Gen 1 GAN charger of the same wattage are almost double the size of Gen 2

to rephrase, newer Gen 2 GAN charger are half the size of older Gen product

also, Gen 1 GAN charger tends to run a bit hotter and if used for longer duration, will likely burn out and stop working after a while in Singapore’s hot weather. I have a Gen 1 GAN charger that ran hot and stopped working after 1 year. Meanwhile my very compact Gen 2 GAN charger bought from Japan still running strong.
