IMHO.
I think type-c should be able to have that specs.
I got an old gaming notebook, the power brick with barrel plug is huge. :ROFLMAO:
it depends on which version of type c they using. Most are PD2/3, which has an upper limit of 100W

AI search:

USB-C Power Delivery can accept up to 240W on the latest PD 3.1 Extended Power Range spec. Earlier USB-C PD versions are typically capped at 100W.usb+1
In practice, the limit depends on both the charger and the cable:
  • 15W for basic legacy charging.
  • 100W for standard PD 2.0/3.0.
  • 240W for PD 3.1 EPR with the right cable and device support.st+1
For most phones and many laptops, the device will only draw the amount it needs, so a higher-watt charger is usually safe as long as it supports USB-C PD properly.

wa so ex
i tot ugreen things all below 10 dollar
ugreen is established brand already, not so cheap anymore. Although still cheaper than anker lah.

I think all of this charger is just use OEM then slap their brand anyway. That's why often you see the shape and dimension is pretty similar between different brand.

I bought one multi port desktop charger rated 200W. Cost around $40 to $50. Very good with my travels as can charge many devices on the table instead of cables from the wall.

Can charge my MacBook at over 90w, phones and tablets at full speed, concurrently.

I have bought a bunch of these wall chargers.

My current favourite is the Anker 140W 4-Port Charger. The prongs are foldable and it weighs under 300g, for easy portability.

Even when all the ports are in use, the USB-C1 output is 65W.

For me, not even close. i don't trust B brand for their cable and charger. In my exp, the cable quality so poor compared with cheaper brand.
I rather choose essager or vention for the same amount of money.

2 phone or 1ph+1tablet , just use 65w more than enough. 100w is overkill, it is use for laptop mainly

One important aspect which is often overlooked is the support for different proprietary charging protocols, especially for china brands. So the same 100w charger may be able to charge 1 brand at max speed while another brand at 22.5w only.

So pay attention to this especially if your household is using different brands of phones. FYI there are some chargers advertising that they support all the major brands at max speed. Some charging cables also can achieve the same effect using a standard pd charger. I got 1 such cable recently to try out so can't comment yet whether it's really so as advertised (or how durable this is).

Like that how ah ? How to check if the charger supports Xiaomi speed charge also I assume the phone provided cable will be compatible but I'm sure a std or normal cable using my own Xiaomi charger will not change in Mac speed. Sweat

Brands like ugreen usually supports 22.5w at least but if u wan go to 100w max then better ask seller or check the product on either google or taobao.

Cable wise is really a hit and miss as far as I m concerned. Other than the original manufacturer cable, those advertising 120w or 240w 6a etc cables typically perform poorer by comparison. I used accubattery to test a few cables that I bot seems output is lower in more than half of the cases. Having said that, they cost only a few bucks from taobao so can't expect much....

So in a way you better keep the stock cable carefully huh.
