Just opened an account and CSO told me if I spent $500 and credited salary this month, higher interest will only apply to balances next month, is that true?

if i've got money in my account and withdrew it on 1st june, the value date shows 3rd june.

does that money that is withdrawn count as end of day ADB for 1st and 2nd june?

What do you mean prorated?

For OCBC 360 account, if I credit salary/make spending on the 15th of May, my May balance will get the higher interest. What UOB CSO told me is that if I credit salary/spend on the 15th of May, only my June balance will get higher interest. Is this true?

Maybe Giro was not triggered as there was no bill to be paid or the bill amount is too low

2 times duplicate payment on Starhub / Prop Tax

1 time was unexpected credit into CC bill, did not trigger giro

Giro Singtel bill, UOB CC bill is ok. SP bill sometimes got GST voucher end up no bill to GIRO. I have 2 telco, UOB CC and SP bill GIRO payment. Quite safe.

Depends on the policy of the organisation triggering the GIRO. I have GIRO from star hub and M1 of less than $6. But IRAS policy is that property tax cannot be less than $10 so based on my tax payable, there is GIRO for 10 mths only.

How much is the bill? Iirc need min $10.01
