UOB or other banks credit cards are counted. IRAS tax and property tax counted. I have a GIRO for a charity also counted. Generally, I don't see any exclusion for GIRO.

If it is for retired family members, just take note that requirement for application for eligible credit card requires income. May have to place 10k FD as collateral in place of income. But can also spend from debit card.

currently Ocbc has the function , which is useful for aiming the exact target balance

It seem that the earmark amt end date is 14 apr 2023 as stated in tnc. Meaning lock 100k for 4.5mths. So to maximise the one acct interest to get 5% for the 5mth, u need to the 100k for 5mth until end april 2023.

Provided that everything stays the same for 5mth, same 5% eir and do 1.6k salary credit and 500 spend for 5mth.

30000x3.85% + 30000x3.90% + 15000x4.85% + 25000x7.80% + 680/5mth×12mth

= (5002.50+1632)/100000x100
= 66324.50/100000x100
= 6.63% only. Not 7%

If 100k for 4 mths only earn abt 2% interest for $680. without bonus intetest. I dont think uob would roll this out at this time.

The problem is I can't even get through to call them... They keep saying line is busy and have back again later. I tried for the past 3 days still can't get through. The robot said to use the live chat.

Went to the website to use the live chat and the ageent also useless, told me he has no access to the info and asked me to call the hotline or wait 5 days for them to call back ZZZ

I registered for this promo earlier... After reading this I got a question regarding
1.5(iv) that are not withdrawn from any existing UOB current/savings or fixed deposit account and redeposited (whether part or all of the amounts withdrawn) into the Account indicated in the Registration (as defined below) at any time during the Promotion Period.

I happened to transfer out to another bank for some payments. Now if i transfer back the $ from this same bank means I not eligible for this promo?

My uob credit card application still no update yet. Applied on 1 Dec.

Be prepared to wait at least a month. I applied too last week of Nov. They finally called me yesterday and the CSO mentioned that they're experiencing a lot of applications and needed another week for me.

Till this morning I receive NOTHING. Either a single SMS or email..... Tryied to call in but always saying customer hotline busy tried chat online it is always a chat bot. Tried many times but just cannot get in.

Anyone knows what is hell going on with UOB now?

yeah UOB CS is currently one of the worst I've experienced. they don't even bother to call you back despite leaving an instruction to do so.

am going to email in a proper complaint via their uobgroup soon, when I return to SG.
