Before anyone gets too excited and imagined I have hacked their PCs, if you upgrade from an OEM version, you will get the same product key depending on which version of Win 10 you upgrade to.

All my 3 Win 10 Pros have VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T as the product key.

You will get a unique product key only if you upgrade from a retail version.

been running a clean install for a few hours, installed office 2010, afterbuner, chrome and other basic applications.

Noted a few bugs.

1. Windows update was downloading updates for my office when it suddenly decided to stop downloading. Had to restart to continue.

2. On a restart, my task bar at the bottom was a blank black. Once again had to restart.

Not game braking bugs, but considering it is just 3 hours into a clean install, I will say the OS is still buggy and it needs further fixes.

:s12: :s12: Also of note, CANDY CRUSH is included in the Windows 10 .iso file and it installs automatically. :s12: :s12:

Quite a ridiculous thing to do. nearly vomited blood. glad i spotted it and uninstalled quickly. cant imagine having candy crush on my computer

Where did you spotted candy crush? I cannot find it on my pc?

Did in place upgrade from 8.1 to 10. Took 40 mins. Once done everything I had from 8.1 was carried over. Including my beloved sidebar gadgets. Encountered nvidia driver unable to install because windows found new hardware. Stumped a while before decided to just reboot. After reboot, found driver successfully applied. All hardwares detected in device manager. Played a game of diablo 3. As spotless as it was before.

And yes, no candy crush on my installation either.

1. I took a new ssd install fresh windows 7 and active it.

2. Download 200 updates and install (windows 7)

3. Install windows 10 from iso

4. Reset windows 10.

Does it consider fresh install ?

Win 10 is definitely better than Win 8. No more annoying full screen apps or charms. On the other hand, the default settings under Win 10 give Microsoft access to a lot of your information, which is something I don't like.

Functionally, it felt the same as Win 7. I like Win 7 because after having spent so much time tinkering with it, I know how it works. Win 10 is still new. Win 10 does have big advantages in DirectX 12 and free games/apps.

I'm talking about the Pro version of Win 10. I will not get the home version because of the lack of control over updates.
