Upgrading to Windows 10

I couldn't update to windows 10 due to this message " we couldn't update the system reserved partition" Previously using a samsung 840 evo so I cloned using samsung migration software to samsung 850 evo.

So i need to reinstall my windows 8.1 pro again?

Use SIW (System Information for Windows). Just download free version. :D
Must use upgrade version of Windows 10.
Steps:
1) Make a image back-up of whole hdd.
2) Take out hdd and put another hdd.
3) Load image to the new hdd.
4) Upgrade to windows 10.
5) use SIW to view the new product keys if any.
6) use Windows 10.
7) Exchange back windows7 hdd.

Note. You need another hdd to play this way.

No need Windows 10 upgrades keeps your old installation with roll back capability

I saw the candy crush icon on my start menu. Not sure if it was preinstalled or a icon to quick install. Either way I just entered settings and uninstalled it lol. Alot of stuff does not appear on control panel, need to enter settings menu to allow uninstallation (apps like weather, news etc)

Anyway as you can see the candy crush "saga" is a true thing. Maybe they randomly choose people to install on.

Just dual boot. One of my PCs have Win 7 Pro and Win 10 Pro installed and I'm only using the Win 7 Pro because of software licensing issues. Some of my video editing software will only work on Win 7 and if I want to upgrade to Win 8/10 versions, I have to pay for the software again. No way I am paying twice for the same software!

hi guys, noob question, browse like 10 page alr still can't find it.

how do I activate the upgrade? it says it will prompt me when upgrade is available, is there a queue or something?
