No issues at all on my asus. In fact it's better than win8. Won't ever go back to any earlier version of windows.

Should I wait a while for the compatibility problems to be addressed before upgrading ?

Not a good start to Win10.

Internet very lag. Went to Asus website to DL the latest LAN drivers for Win10. Also very lag.

Dropbox, OneDrive and Mega not connecting at all.

Roll back to 8.1 and all working again.

Anyone same problem? Mobo is Maximus VI Formula.

You might want to consider doing a fresh install.

There are teething problems for some. But for the rest, there are no compatibility problems whatsoever

i concur to this.

If you are from Windows 8.1 > Windows 10 - chances are you should be facing not much of an issue.

Windows 7 > Windows 10 might have alittle bit more challenges.

Upgraded 3 PCs at home, so far no issue for all 3 including the applications.

Though i did noticed some app got "uninstalled" - not in add/remove programs any longer but i can still fire them as per normal.

Do I need to recreate the System Reserved Partition in order to make the upgrade works? Last time I cloned the OS from the old HDD to SSD and it doesn't contain the SRP now...

I'm using Windows 8.1.
Maybe I make a backup first then try upgrading.

you can try.. if got the error then can go follow the steps from this page.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/3a6znd/we_couldnt_update_the_system_reserved_partition/

someone share to me when I having the error. I never tried the steps because I reinstall my windows 8.1 pro then upgrade from there before I saw the post.

Used the media creation tools to directly upgrade. Only encountered problem with the anti virus, need to manually install win 10 compatible version. Feels more responsive than win 8 and win 7 or even win xp.

Edge is extremely useful. In fact, it is the first thing I used after I did the clean install. I used it to download Firefox. :s13:

I think u r not supposed to upgrade directly. More like to make an iso image from the media creation tool. Selecting the 'upgrade' option seems to cause a crash coz i think the media creation tool was directly ported over from the mainstream queue-up upgrade method.
