Upgrading to Windows 10

hi guys i tried to use media creation tool to upgrade window 10 from my current window 8.1 however it shows me this message "something happen" anyone had this issue ?

I had the same problem and this solved it for me:

But the problem is, the download is moving damn slowly...

I tried to change the region to USA still the same and i choose to put into iso and run the startup but they prompt me for CD key i tried using the window 8.1 keys they said not recognised

You can select "skip" to bypass this screen.

Windows 10 turn off quite alot of background processes.. But don't like the cortana thingy... Browser rooks worst than safari...

cortana enabled? It says not available in my region. anyway browser display webpages differently than safari?

It is not inspiring confidence in the users how Microsoft has decided what to include and turn on by default. Are Microsoft's default settings made in the best interest of the user?

Who knows if they have something else that we do not know of that needs to be turned off or disabled manually, which poses a security or privacy risk until discovered or exploited.

Hi guys.

I am using Windows 8.2 now and quite happy with it.

After seeing this thread, it seems that Windows 10 is having way too many problems. So i think i will not upgrade to Windows 10 for the next few years until all the bugs and kinks are resolved.
