China will cut its subsidies on new energy vehicles (NEV) such as electric cars by 20% next year, the finance ministry said on Thursday, while seeking to cut pollution and cultivate home-grown auto-sector champions.
China has set a target for NEVs, which also covers plug-in hybrids and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, to account for a fifth of auto sales by 2025 compared with the current 5%.
The takedowns come amid a crackdown on unlicensed games by Chinese authorities.
Including the 39,000 games, Apple removed more than 46,000 apps in total from its store on Thursday. Games affected by the sweep included Ubisoft title Assassin’s Creed Identity and NBA 2K20, according to research firm Qimai.
A record dividend payment in the first quarter of 2020, and a stronger than expected payment in the fourth quarter led to record payouts to investors, the ninth straight annual record, according to research from Howard Silverblatt, senior index analysts for S&P and Dow Jones indices.
The delays in rolling out the home-grown vaccine have caused consternation in Germany, where some regions had to halt vaccinations within days of starting an inoculation drive.
"At the moment it doesn't look good - a hole is appearing because there's a lack of other approved vaccines and we have to fill the gap with our own vaccine," BioNTech CEO Ugur Sahin told news weekly Spiegel.
Sahin said the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine, which uses messenger RNA to instruct the human immune system to fight the coronavirus, should be able to cope with a new, more contagious variant first detected in Britain.
"We are testing whether our vaccine can also neutralise this variant and will soon know more," he said.

We selected the 2,000 largest public companies by revenue in the U.S.—banks and insurance companies were measured by total assets more than $50 billion.
Next we screened. Only companies that had published a document the same or similar to a Corporate Responsibility Report were considered (Corporate Citizen Report or Sustainability Report, for example). Some companies whose primary business is in the defense industry were eliminated as were companies involved in lawsuits or government regulatory actions.
Part three of the process was a detailed analysis of the companies consisting of two parts. The first: We focused on publicly available performance data in the environmental, social and corporate governance categories. We also conducted a survey, asking 7,500 U.S. citizens about their perceptions of the companies related to corporate social responsibility.
All elements were weighted to produce a final score.

Very encouraging thanks !
