Using E-gate MegaThread

From your browser press f12 then right click and inspect element on the date field you should see something like 'input read-only=read-only ...'

On the de console (f12) delete the read-only n press enter. U should be able to manually edit the dates but there will not be a drop down for date selection

I think I managed to enter the dates per your instructions & submitted successfully. However when I did Check Vistit Pass, the date I used didn't appear for me to download the PDF.

Did you do Check Visit Pass?

i know what you mean, i wasn't able to find the page to download the PDF. guessing they have changed the page somehow.

however, i've entered and exited jb using the egate today and checking the Check Visit Pass page, i'm able to see both entry and exit record for today.

anyway you can use the "Check Egates Eligibility Status" page and enter your details it should say "You are eligible to use the e-gate facility." then it should be good to go i guess?

Yes for Eligibility I did the same deletion you advised & it says I'm Eligible with the date I used during Registration.

Check Visit Pass page was available to me, only the date of Entry & the PDF wasn't available.

Maybe I'll try not bothering about the dates during Registration & see whether I'm let in

hmm... i want to try entry via e-Gate in JB and exit via land border in Dannok/Sado but MDAC still down as of 6th morning

hopefully their system will be up for me to try entry via land border in Dannok/Sado and exit via e-Gate in JB

nah, it's down, no travel dates maybe understandable, but DOB and passport expiry date also cannot enter to register... but still "successfully registered"

then can't find the PDF anymore to download, knowing how #MalaysiaBoleh is, i'm not going to risk not having a complete pair of stamps when travelling thru an unfamiliar border control.

You wanna try this?...proven already

i'll wait until i can download the PDF as a record to show, because i'm crossing the Malaysia-Thai border after entering JB, just don't want them to play dumb and pretend to not know about the e-Gate and i don't have the PDF to show.

In and out from JB side, i have no worries as they know about e-Gate and i have already tried incomplete stamps on both entry and exit.

You must also alert others that this way Check Visit Pass doesn't show the date of Entry nor was the PDF made available to download.

Latest... Without dates, unsuccessful

E-Gate confirmed down for Singaporean. while I got a "registration successful" from MDAC website without entering in the travel dates and DOB, the e-Gates did not accept my passport, I got the manual stamp.

FYI ,egate can not use in Malaysia-Thais border, only Tuas and Woodland, Klia 1 & 2

Makes sense as TH is not one of the 10 countries eligible for MACSv02.

Once done above, when u go to EGate, go to the extreme right.
At the extreme right, the first 2 Egates you see, use the one on the right. (the left one always gives error)
If you first 1-2 times got error, keep trying. Sometimes 3rd try then can go through

I managed to go in using left side egate on first try with no issues.

I removed the readonly and entered the dates as normal.
