Using E-gate MegaThread

just got my renewed passport last week and registered for MDCA, went to the manual counters to register and kept getting passport verification fail and the immigration folks told me to reach out to ICA.

Anyone else encountered such issues?

Just curious it failed at which stage. During the scanning of passport at manual counter by officer or failing during fingerprint registration.

Email? If you mean that email with the PIN/password at the end, it's normally the same one you got last registration.

Just go to Check Registration and key in the same one.

But ya, read from FB group there's some issue with MDAC registration.

Do Check Registration & Eligibility, if both have your records for the day of Entry then you're good to go, else re-MDAC till acknowledged.

Do the Check Eligibility step first, using your previous password you got via email. You've done this before right? Just pull out that old email and input the password from there. Then scroll down to see if there's a PDF file of your latest submission.

I'll always submit MDAC 2 days before the date of entry (3 days if inclusive of Entry)... don't want to get into a situation when MDAC system is down at the last minute/day.

MDAC is definitely acting up.

I submitted for tomorrow but it didn't proceed to completion like normally & there was no email acknowledgement too.

However when I checked under Eligibility it says I'm eligible for the date I just submitted.

I tested Eligibility on another date I didn't Register for & it says I'm not eligible.

Finally successfully submitted MDAC...I didn't quit from the site after clicking Submit & left the site alone to sort itself out.

After more than 10 minutes it says I'm IN! & email acknowledgement also received.

I managed to file just now.

Not smooth but once it got through, just go to Check Registration, key in the same password you got previously (check the email from your previous trip), and walah, pull out the PDF file from there.

Making sure you've a stable network connection helps too.

For me Check Registration doesn't work, I only depend on email acknowledgement.

For me, I hardly touched Eligibility... maybe only once AFTER I've used the eGates for a few times, just out of curiosity. Now I only go from Register to Check Registration to extract the PDF file.

So long as your submission goes through, can try using the code from your previous email instead of waiting for one.

Unless it's your first registration so you won't have any previous email to refer to.
