With e-Gate now do we still have to queue 1 - 2 hours at Malaysia CIQ side?

Currently i'm only going JB if i managed to get train tickets, but with eGate now is the queueing situation at JB side better?
Still queue since all wil transition to eGate, but clears faster than manual that's for sure.
So it now depends on the volume of visitors clearing, time and of course whether its working consistently.
Its definitely better than previous I would say.

IDN cannot use E-Gate...check the list of foreigners not allowed for E-Gate.

Have they updated their system for egate from SG to JB via train? The last i heard is still for malaysian only.
So if entered JB via train w/o going through e-gate, if coming back by bus, can not use e-gate to exit too, right?

Used the e-gate at KLIA yesterday. No issues. Didn't notice what's located next to it.

Not a lot of people using it. Didn't even have to queue.

Singapore passport if it matters.

By right you can e-gate in and manual out vice versa no problem. But with their prata nature, best to e-gate in - e-gate out, manual in - manual out.

Yes, by left, if you got chopped in but not chop that showed you left, the next entry may get issue

With all the "system down" cases, I don't want to risk it. Of course, this is up to individual.

On Tuesday, I entered JB through the e-gate at CIQ at BSI. Left the same afternoon using the e-gate at BSI. No problems whatsoever. I have never made any preparations for this. I am convinced the issues of the past are over.

Was at KLIA2 last week and used the e-gates. Follow the signs, it is in a separate area from the manual counters. When I was there, have staff to redirect me to the e-gate after they know I am SG passport. Very fast, no queue. When I was departing, same thing, airport was crowded but e-gate has no queue.

Newbie here seeking advice, looking to use egate to enter Malaysia towards city square and also purchase return ktmb ticket back to Singapore.

Understand it’s best to egate in and same method egate out.
Is there a egate machine at the ktmb custom?

Also if I still need to apply MDAC form to use the egate for entry and exit at ktmb train custom?

TIA bros!
