Sure you can cut down on the effort and still get relatively good service. I teach u a trick, it is a 2 step process:

Step 1: go into one branch of the luxury store, LV for example, eye for the items that you want to inspect and play with, handle in your hands. Ask the sales gal to write down their in house product codes for those items, on their letterhead memo pad.

Step 2: go to another branch of the luxury store, walk in confidently and pass the memo with the product codes to a sales gal, tell her you wish to take a look at those products, ask her to bring it to you. Then immediately sit down at their sofa or chair, asks for a drink.

Try this, and you will get very good service from.

Errr that's alotta work and really if you are bo liao...

Present yourself well, dress appropriately, be nice to sales people and treat them well. They will treat you well too ;)

Well, with the price of their phones, they probably have enough spare change to throw such parties! :D

haha...

for me,i had a quite terrible experience with sony ericsson...not because of the party they throw but how they handled customer's enquiry...

i using and still using right now an almost 6 years old phone model, and its one of those limited/not so popular model...recently,the phone started to give me light problems so went to service centre to ask what they can do to help me...instead,got a "your model too old" response,i was like :s22:...

i only used china-brand (chinaphone, its what i can only afford in the past) and sony ericsson phones so this actually makes me think differently of this brand's image as its the only branded phone i ever did own/use...

at least nokia and motorola gave me a totally different response when i 'checked in' to their service centre to service my family's 6 years old phones... :)

anyone has any idea how to differentiate between a real and fake vertu...

i have seen a few people on the train using a vertu, which are knock-offs obviously, from the way they hold and use the phone and also the colour/ringtone...also,can buy vertu but still take public transport, its a bit weird?

the moment u hold the real phone u will know cos of the wg....the ringing is also diff...very 3d very clear and norm user will use the pipe piper ringtone wic is unquie to vertu.....from far u hear the sound u will noe it is a vertu...screen is make of sapphine crystal so is a finger print magnet..case is make of either stainless steel/titanium/yellow,rose,white gold...the top part is ceramic...if u seen enuff vertu the moment the fake come u will know cos it is damm sore eye.....
