I do know my static ip address. But what do I set for subnet mask and default gateway in the router fields. Usu I just set it to automatic ip, and I will just get the same ip address all the time

gw address is your static ip address but end with .1
subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 or /24

on my testnet with VQ link. currently all working. so maybe can set your static ipv4 and see if that works.

go koon liao.. got to wake up early for LSD. hopefully the outage resolves sooner than later for those without alternatives

Thanks for this. Worked for me.
Just set my WAN connection type to Static IP instead of automatic and then updated WAN IP settings (IP address, subnet mask and default gateway) to the correct values.

They updated the FB Post.

To reboot modem and router to restore connection. I have tried restarting a few times, still not providing any IP.

They also locked out anyway to comment on their post because they've got no balls, scared of all the angry customers.

Try changing DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 to see if that helps.

Try setting the DNS Server to Cloudflare or Google DNS servers. Make sure settings are applied, and reboot router too just in case.

Same setting (of-course my own ip), can ping my own IP but can't reach the gateway or external DNS.
At this rate, maybe they need to hire harry potter who wave a magic wand to fix it overnight. Who knows?

Upstream network flipping, setting this also will not help.

Just wait for news that the network has been restored, then reboot your router.

Treat this as a sign to go koon early tonight. If the internet is still flipping when you wake up the next morning, you can be sure IMDA will come knocking on their door. At least you still have your mobile network.

Moving forward, if the internet is so crucial, then it could be time to consider a backup WAN until your VQ contracts end.​

Just subscribed to MR, sadly the earliest appointment date is the 22nd Oct. Mostly work from home as well so this is worrying.Shocking service honestly

Tonight I think a lot of players are affected, maybe the servers I am playing on. Because my BF6 kaki also went offline due to VQ when he was manning the tank and was supposed to provide me with covering fire! Kanz!

Not just affect the people on VQ, but also affected the whole team! WTF! ​

If he is the assault class and the key frontline moving spawn point during intense battle, my whole (old fugs) team will screw him upside down, jialak jialak. Coz rarely to get every kaki together where most are working professionals by day, and old boys who still game like young kids on weekend nights.

He has been forewarned tonight to change ISP liao. ​

change gateway ip to .2 if the default .1 is not working for you.
as they said one of their gateway is down... so just koon early and check back tomorrow.
