Still down... GG... just recon 2 years this March... Want to jump ship also cannot unless run two lines... ZZZ
Run 2 lines lor. VQ is cheap enough to buy 2nd internet.

Now the question for me is will I need to top-up my Heya dual WAN before VQ restores service? :s13: VQ has been hard down since midnight :s22:

My bad should been more clear with my message. I am on static plan, and they have gateway which is .1 (not DNS) and i added gateway .2 (if you know how to do in router, it is not DNS).
Thanks!

I'm also static plan with my own Linksys router. Not sure if the model is too old but I cannot seem to find any such config there :( Any advises where to define it?

What I just now noticed I was able to connect VPN with NordVPN and now able to access internet when VPN is turned on.

Spent half an hour waiting on the line just to speak to a person who sounded like a Filipino.

All he did was to create a ticket and help me to escalate the issue. The call ended in less than 5 mins

ipv4 network is still acting loony...
pinging 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.9 all very high packet loss.
which is probably why internet is not working for most people. cos DNS not working.
I do not know VQ's DNS IPs at hand. you may want to revert back and test
interestingly.. other ipv4s not affected.. randomly picked www.microsoft.com and www.apple.com both pinged fine.
hummm.. seems to be affecting anycast IPs... interesting.....

ipv6 network is working normally thou if thats any consolation.

I'm using ADGuard encrypted DNS. It's working fine on my iphone that's on Singtel currently. I can wireguard back and access my UCG-Fiber but can't access any sites etc... So irritating...

Mine seems to be back. Got a Unifi notification that WAN is back and I'm able to remote access my UCG-Fiber without wireguard back.

Whatever hacky fix they did this morning certainly made it worse.

came back from lunch and did a few more connectivity tests.
seems all back to normal on my end. routing and ping metrics all within normal tolerances...

those still experiencing issues. maybe a good time to reboot. remember to revert any changes you may have made when troubleshooting.

edit: spoke too soon. link suddenly down again...

Now seriously thinking 2 providers… which
Dual-WAN Router is recommended?

1) Any ISP can be a secondary ISP, SIMBA/MR/M1/Starhub if you do not like ONR, and Singtel/WC if you do not mind ONR (very stable). Personally I will recommend either M1 or Starhub (no CGNAT, with public IPv4, with IPv6).

2) Dual WAN capable routers -- consumer routers like Asus or Netgear is not a good choice.

pfSense with a mini PC, or OPNsense

Unifi UCG

There are others as well.

Ubiquiti UDM Pro SE? It seems a bit too much.

Which isp provides cheapest plan with ONT only? I don’t need their router since they will bridge to a dual wan router anyway.
