Use elimination method. Back then I was deciding between Jazz, Lancer CS3, Altis, Axio & Vios.

I struck out Jazz because i'm really worried about gearbox issue. Then struck out Lancer CS3 (those EX lancers haven't expire back then ma) because i'm mostly worried that it can't fit in a 2din headunit .

Then comes the Toyota fight. Axio, heard some scary CVT gearbox issue that it just die without symptoms, so out! Altis (E120) & Vios (NCP42), back then my thoughts is that it looks oldie, so out! (But damn... 42s can look really good with mods & it's super damn reliable).

Chanced upon one and got a Vios NCP93 in the end. Likely the very first batch ba! Since i saw some SGU carplates which are 42s. Am happy with it

Cvt transmission is actually quite bulletproof. Unless you anyhow shift like racer with that transmission. It should last very very very long.

As compared to my previous Fiat Punto this car is a real no frills, all rounder value (for the price range).

Decent FC, powerful air con, ample sitting room, reasonable boot size.
Only feel the car's too light and floaty at >110km/hr but it's probably not built for that kinda speeds; at least in stock conditions.

All in all I'm very pleased.

As compared to my previous Fiat Punto this car is a real no frills, all rounder value (for the price range).

Decent FC, powerful air con, ample sitting room, reasonable boot size.
Only feel the car's too light and floaty at >110km/hr but it's probably not built for that kinda speeds; at least in stock conditions.

All in all I'm very pleased.

Consider aftermarket rims & lowering. Had a good run on NSHW few months ago at 90% of speedo.

May consider the strut bar but definitely not gonna lower or do coils.
Mostly with kid these days and comfort is priority.
Just sometimes alone in JB and I'll push to 130km/h for a fun sprint.

Depending on the right coils, your comfort won't be sacrificed

Engine bay strut bar without lowering is like no effect actually, cuz I'm currently on this setup

don't think that i'm the only one. i'm sure there are many others running BEYOND that speed hitting 100% with Vios.

Only if you're confident with your setup and vehicle condition. 1st thing to change out will be that 5.5jj stock rims.

Consider a set of good tires in JB! RE003 is good, each is only about $70+ for 15" there.
