Just for the record, I received the confirmation email at 2:53PM, about 6 hours after the congratulation email.
Wah so long ah... I just ordered 4 lines using Singpass... it was quite a hassle to have to create 4 accounts like to get 4 lines but it's done... I also just got the congratulations message but no confirmation email yet. Probably have to wait... hope to be able to collect on Mon cos today is impossible... but Mon closest to me is Jurong Point and only can collect at 5.30 pm... which means I can only port in on Tue and basically use the port-in numbers only on Wed... not very good timing...

Anyway got question to ask again:

1. 3 of the 4 lines is SharePlus lines on Singtel. So I should port those lines in first right?
2. For my main line, given the timeline above where my SharePlus lines are likely to be active only on Wed, does that mean I should port in my main line only after the SharePlus lines are all active on VIVIFI network?

Thanks!

Should I go to Raffles City to collect in the morning and port-in immediately that day? Then should get to use the number by the next day right? Cos port-in before 4 pm means next day should be able to use port-in number right?

Also once I port out means that is the end of my contract with Singtel right? My contract expired on 13 Oct actually... I just didn't have time to buy the lines and port out until today. So Singtel has billed me the full fee for my plan, charging done on 2 Nov for Oct. Which means if I port out, then nothing to do with Singtel anymore right? Just pay the pro-rated bill for Oct then sua right? Sorry ah, never done this before...

Need to pay Singtel bill in full otherwise port in may fail. Singtel will refund prorated unused amount.....after many weeks..

  • Check that you are no longer in contract with your existing Telco and have no outstanding bills.

Guys, I received a reminder email to port my number over... is that the email for collection? Can't be right? Does that mean I still haven't obtained the collect emails? How does it look like?

Anyone can advise?

What is the forever promotion? I enter the code when I activate? Cos I signed up using Singpass so I can activate anytime after I collect.

I'm collecting tomorrow... I missed Mon's one lar... stupid me forgot to put on alarm and totally forgot both collection times on Mon...

Got to get my porting in tomorrow after I get back. I intend to collect from Buona Vista, wonder where I should park... Star Vista seems the closest but also seems like have to walk quite a bit to Exit C...

Easy to spot the VIVIFI people? My timing quite tight cos I have time only between 1.30 - 2.30 pm... hope they don't 'zao' early? What's your experience bro?

Just got my SIM cards... Now to activate and port in....

Ok activated all 4 SIM cards smoothly... didn't expect that they would send OTP to the different numbers... good thing able to contact parents for the OTP...

Also ported in 3 of 4 numbers (SharePlus lines) and see if they are active tomorrow... once active, I will switch SIM cards for all the 3 phones then proceed to port in my main line...
