For this promo, does it mean after the 6th month it will go back to $12.98/mth? So for longer than 12 months, the $9.98/mth is a better deal?
From the bills I have received, my understanding is -
Month 1 - $9.98
Months 2 to 7 - $8.50
Months 8 to 12 - $9.98
Month 13 - $12.98

This is for Vivifi Plus 6GB plan.

More like 1st bill as it include pro rated month 1 and full month 2 @ $9.98.

Month 1 they mean full month not the actual 1st month that’s pro rated.

So it’s,
Month 1 - pro rated $9.98
Month 2 - $9.98
Month 3 to 8 - $8.50

If I'm on the 6GB plan, once the 6GB data is used up, what's the speed of the free data at slower speed?

means if I sign today,

1st mth (April) is $9.98 (pro rated)
2nd mth (May) is $8.50
Can cancel after 2nd mth right
Not sure if they count by sign up date or collection of SIM card. But 2 bill cycle is not 2 months.

1st bill - 1st month pro rate + 2nd month
2nd bill - 3rd month

So maybe July then can switch

I'm afraid you will not be able to cancel that soon. 2 billing cycles are required and paid for.

Please refer to my earlier post and the T&C from Vivifi below

My 1st bill was supposed to be deducted on 28 March but didnt happen(their responsibility). It was simply brought forward to the following April bill.

Your deduction failed due to insufficient fund(your responsibility). let us know if there is any admin fee when u received your next bill please.

My bill says payment will be deducted on 28th of every month, is there any way to trigger deduction from the CC before 28th? As it's near the end of the month and I'm using a CC that calculates cashback by calendar month, I don't want to risk it not being posted in time and hence falling below the minimum spend for that month.

Also, can any kind soul share if the deduction is categorized under 'Online' spending? Thanks!

On the assumption that you are using OCBC Frank Card, the transaction date is every 28th of the month & generally by 30th it will be posted. So likely every February you may have to count it as March spending. So far, FC is giving 6% rebates as it classify as online category.

For DBS LF, rebates are calculated based on transaction date, so it shouldn’t be a concern - no confirmation that DBS LF gives 5% for Vivifi transactions.

Thank you! I was afraid that the 28th transaction date would not be posted in time by 30th/31st but hearing of your experience reassures me. Also, it's fantastic that it counts as online category, as I've tried giga before and it doesnt count as online for both OCBC Frank and DBS LF (learnt it the hard way). Thanks very much for sharing!
