what you can do is to sign up on website first. receive/collect your sim card but dont activate sim card until your contract ends.
singtel will charge a bill for that few days of usage but after a few months they will pro rate and return you the amount by cheque. (i didn't even told them they over charge me for that few days)

Oh even for Singtel sim-only plan, they pro-rate? I thought for sim only plan there is no proration so I didn’t want them to bill me an entire month of $35.34 for a few days of usage 😅

Singtel website says that
“If the SIM Only Plan is terminated before the expiry of the 12-month minimum subscription period by the customer for any reason whatsoever, or by Singtel Mobile as a consequence of any breach by the customer of any of the obligations or duties of the customer, the entire month’s fees will still be payable and early termination charges will apply on the unfulfilled balance of the 12-month minimum subscription period. Early termination charges will also apply if there is a change plan within the 12- month minimum subscription period. There are no early termination charges to change instrument from SIM Only Plan to any Combo Mobile plan at any time during the 12-month minimum subscription period, but all free data/talktime/SMS/MMS will be terminated”

so technically as long as I paid until the full 12 months to 16 Mar. it should be ok even if I terminate it a few days earlier? 🤔

When porting in from MyRepublic to Vivifi, should I choose M1 or MyRepublic? I read that some people encountered problem when choosing MyRepublic.

yea. I just wasn’t sure what’s the recovery fee. Thanks! I checked my Singtel service agreement and the recovery fee is the subscription up till the 12 months which I have already paid for. So there should not be additional charges on top of this.

I contacted Liao.

yup I have no outstanding bills etc under Singtel already. When I login Singtel portal the number not listed there. So by right should work ler.

All the details are correct. I submitted change of name during port in. Everything is correct. But just not sure why.

Even the vivifi temp line is not working. Cos if failed I would be able to use the temp line ya? But mine also cannot.

If success port in should receive SMS ya? I also got no SMS 😱😱😱 now damn jialat. Cos need the line for work. Haiz

Oh I thought weekdays got issues they can reply me. Because they are closed during weekends. Haha now I’m so dead because I need the line for work. Omg. 😱😱😱

the worst thing is both cards not working. Singtel shows no service. Vivifi shows vivifi but can’t use at all. No data. Can’t call etc. haiz

UPDATE: Received vivifi welcome SMS at 10am to inform the successful port over. And all the rest of the services are working once restarted phone. Vivifi account still shows temp number. Maybe need to wait for them to update.

But ya, so when their system shows failed doesn’t mean failed I think. And also there will be a down time during the migration. It only started working after I receive the SMS even when the SIM card is with service.

they only do port in on weekdays. weekend they don't do. downtime is usually one day. should be up close to 11am the next day of port in.

Anyone opted for the $5 Sim card delivery?
I signed up for the 80GB for $18 deal on 27th Feb. Until now still haven't receive the sim card. The delivery is supposed to be 2 working days.
If i cannot activate the sim and port over by 07th March then i cannot get the 80GB and only get the 50GB instead.

Can I write in to request for the 80gb if such is the case that the delay is due to the delivery?

Eh I also! But for my case even though it shows failed. It’s still successful ler. I woke up at 6am. It shows failed. Changed SIM card got service but cannot use (only can receive incoming SMS). filed a support ticket at 6.30am. Then waited until 10am then vivifi service is up and got sms say port over successful but their portal still say fails 😅😅 not sure if the port over got downtime or is it they act on my ticket. 🤣

your vivifi SIM card got service?
