Apparently it’s normal behaviour for Android phones. iPhone don’t seem to have such a message.

Do share here when you have hear back from Vivifi.

Vivifi had responded and they claimed it is normal for android phone to have this conditional message. Anyway I have told them that China rom android phone does not have this problem. Case closed.

I still maintain the point that esim should be for short term use. Like overseas travel sim of that country.

What is the advantage of esim over physical sim card ? Other than no need to collect the first time ?

If you have an iPhone, that frees up the physical SIM card slot for another line or an overseas SIM when travelling.

To me, other than better security, less prone to physical damage and easily switch between sims,
I dont see much benefits of esims lah.

That’s assuming you can get esim for travel, physical prepaid sims are usually more value for money and you can get them at any local store in a pinch. What I’m saying is the physical sim slot is much more valuable for travelling.

Specifically Singtel and GOMO only. Every other mvno on Singtel is ok.
