my dad's plan is about 1.5 year old ..... iirc it's the 20gb plan at $9 with $2 addon to $11 (before add gst) (with bonus 30gb first 6 months IIRC , long gone)
he uses about 3gb monthly

can I help him login the webpage and change plan to the $9.50 9gb unlimited Plus9 plan ? can save $2 that way .... or just toggle the switch to turn off the $2 addon ?

my mum also on old $9 plan i think will try login since I have the login details immediately

I checked my family and given name. The sequence is wrong.

VIVIFI asked me to email them a copy of my NRIC for change of name. I did not change my NRIC, and the NRIC also did not stated which is family name and given name.

Did VIVIFI request to update the name by sending them the same copy of your NRIC by email too? I do not know want to email my NRIC if possible.

OMG, singtel did that to me too (not the first nor the last of their admin foulups). if family and given names were reversed, it's definitely an admin error on their part (if not sure, they should have asked on the spot). Look like have to check back a month or two after signing up, just to verify.

If doing Speedtest I get over 1000mbps for Vivifi 5G . This means using 5G SA right? Upload only 80 something mbps though.

Oh 5G NSA can get over 1000mbps already. So 5G SA can get much higher now then? Thinking of switching back to SingTel for 5G SA.
normal if you are near the ST antenna to get 600-1000mbps ish if you are lucky for NSA.. SA or not is up to you if you need the speed..

Noted thanks. I’m more after the responsiveness of the 5G network and 5G SA coverage than outright speed. But it does come with it too. Especially now that 3G going to cease. Good to have another network that can help when 4G coverage is not good.

they didnt request my nric. i told them to change and straight away they change within 1 hour.

i highly suspect they purposely change our given and last name so we will face issue for the 1st porting. all my balance 5 vivifi lines, the names are all correct.

then same night simba do porting and successfully already.

Occam's Razor, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. It's probably just some part time staff that entered your particulars wrongly. Vivifi isn't going to risk their reputation and IMDA investigation over some $10-20 plan.

NSA and SA does not have speed difference. In fact NSA can be faster than SA, because it aggregates with LTE spectrum during download. That's also the case that in the US when mmWave is used, they are using NSA, but speed can be very fast.
SA only provides more advanced features and lower latency. Not higher speed
