Haha i agree too. But you are talking about 1980's era!!!!

Did you know there used to be a "Red Period" in GW where in the 1980's almost every 'eavy metal painter used red in their models!

Yeah.. the red era. Story goes that GW made a mistake and ordered an excessive amount of red paint. So as not to lose money, they paint everything red. :s13:

Hmm you bought warriors separately??

Its easier to get warriors from the Battalion box which has almost all the neccessary stuff to field a nice and competitive army.

You definitely need the gaunts and 1/2 carnifexes (even more if u wanna play a Nid-zilla army). The genestealers are also very good to have. The warriors are a bit iffy (i would trade away warriors if i were u hahaha).

I only get them to convert to tyrant guards!!!

Spindoc - Damn nice shining spears!

Do you use freehand for the designs on the bikes?

Your white color is so smooth. White and Yellow is such a bitch to paint. LOL..

Seriously, you should enter Golden Daemon.

The trick is to use more thin coats than a single thick coat.

Seriously, you should enter Golden Daemon.

Nah we already have a 3x Golden Daemon winner from Singapore.

Actually he has taught me quite a lot of stuff (yes i know who he is....).

Well i think my painting standard is still not there yet. :D Still need lots of improvement!

Here's something fun i did around 4 yrs back...I wanted to save money on the Killa Kans (which are metal) so i converted them for old paint pots!!

Cool.. i heard about a guy who won 1 Golden Daemon. So we have 3 different winners?

Its actually valuable to learn from these guys.. can your friend do a paint workshop? :D

No we have 1 winner who won 3 times (think its Gold, Silver, Gold).

can your friend do a paint workshop?

I dunno....he does teach painting when the Game-workshop store was still at Plaza Singapure. Well he should be down at the Sporecon this June.

Glad to see you starting on the nids!

One point though...in the first pic, the venom cannon should come with a venom cannon left arm. You have used a rending claw arm instead...just remember to green stuff the hole on the weapon

Your pics are a bit blurry.. did you select Marco function on your camera?

it helps to focus better for upclose shots.

IS that Skull from a FW PE template in the first pic?

I assume you gonna do some freehand on the plasticard on the sides?

Look very tasty so far!
