I hope you see why I am "anti" people that love money. I am trying to help them. By tackling the root problem.
Remove the love of money, their lives will have less evil.
I understood
Some story sharing,
I recalled I had many pcs of $2 notes when I was 8yo, unknowingly guilt overcame me, I threw it all in a dustbin at my void deck yet I also stole money from my parents despite my dad gave me so much of allowance even on weekends
I never saved up when I was a single, I married my wife with a saving of $15k nia and spent $13k on our wedding,she is years younger and managed to save 3x of mine ,she didn't want to tell me as she was afraid we would argue over money matters but luckily ,we don't
Can say I am YOLO type, got how much spend how much especially on smartphones but at least my SA managed to hit BRS (on the way to FRS in 11 years, slow but steady)
And I don't mind spending money on my wife, there was once I borrowed $6k from her to buy her a diamond ring and I returned her the loan in 6 months
I don't feel heart pain at all because as long as she is happy and I am working ,money can be earned
I felt proud to pay for most of the items for our new home not really because I am a MCP but more like I should man up such a responsibility
Money to me is only important when we get old, need to pay for our insurance and medical fees (hopefully MA is able to sustain without much cash portion)
If really can't cope ,would downgrade from RCR to OCR location
We will survive even though I don't earn a lot
Types of insurance coverage that I have;
Basic accident , cancer plan, rider, A ward hospitalization plan
I am not eligible for critical illness
So even if I RIP now, at least my wife doesn't need to service the HDB loan anymore plus got some insurance heritance and CPF $150k bequest to her though these two are not much ,it should be more than enough for her since we have no kids
