I am just pointing out what I see. She is already "saved" in the afterlife.

Love peace joy, this will be subjective. I am dealing with the latter.

People live how they want. Unless they asking me for help and are receptive to help, I don't bother even trying to deal with anything.

But you do what you do too. :)

If your net worth is negative, think positively:

You are an asset of the society

Otherwise, you are a liability of the society. Of course, this is from a balance sheet point of view;);)

Still dun get why so many are negative. Even with a HDB loan, surely the value of their HDB is more than their loan?

I voted negative. Real networth is definitely higher, but i 1) wont sell my house 2) cant use my cpf 3) gotta pay loans every month so technically my cashflow is negative.

just looking at networth numbers are meaningless if the assets are not liquid to me. So some posts here a bit funny la. unless u trying to upsell urself like some high flying insurance agent otherwise why tag a value to urself? A human being is way more valuable than the assets they own, alive or dead.

u want to compare, compare real positive cashflow indicators such as salary, revenue, alternative income, investments, reducing expenses etc. and risk vs reward. More useful and good for pple to learn.

if i really want to calculate my networth or potential networth…

I will like to think it is going to be more than the figures in this thread. Im young afterall. This figure will snowball for those who are older, especially after the previous generation have moved on.

Maybe because they exclude the sale of their HDB and where do they stay after selling the flat?

Think should only buffer in the sale proceeds after getting the next flat

Actually the rinse and repeat of such question seems to surface every week

You can look down on others when your asset figures are higher than the rest but someday, we can't bring our wealth along when we died
Try not to let material blinds your heart, I might be the poorest and most beh gan in edmw but I might be the happiest person here too

Ahahaha

enuff to retire in SG can liao.

once my previous gen leaves (touch wood!!) i have no longer any more need to work for the rest of my life. Same for my hubby n my kid.

but in the mean time, I will still want to prove that I am able to be self sufficient regardless. Cos 1) this is not confirmed and 2) money u ownself earn will be more shiok to spend.
