What PC speakers are u using?

So lets say I'm looking at AE A2+ for my desktop speakers, for light gaming and music... how would you describe the sound like?

I suppose I would appreciate a woofer base but I'm trying to keep things at minimal nowadays...

At a point, I was even considering a desktop sound bar... but I'd concluded that they takes up even more space...

Yea, cant beat physics, want bass, need big drivers. AE 2+ wont cut it, its rated at 65hz minimum
Depends on what music you listen to, pop genre is fine, but r&b/jazz/metal/rock, you will be missing alot of bass and impact

However, that said, I would still take a 2.0 over any sound bar even with sub

my Bose Companion 20 GG after more than 10 years.
my Edifier R1850DB still on my desk but never used for a long time coz very very loud.
now my PC speaker is the BOSE Soundlink Mini 2.

Good enough.. and Bose always got Bass! (not the rumbling type.. but can hear bass... very nice.)

Hifi or being an audiophile is an expensive hobby, especially in SG where the market is so small & so marked up;

Must have a supportive wife.

I gave up > 10 years ago. Nowadays I listen to Internet radio or play mp3 files.

My GF got mad when she hears that I spend lots on Audio equipment and I spend days tweaking the amp and positioning the speakers.
Then I convince her to sit and listen with a gin tonic. Now she does that almost every day. And I can't enjoy my hobby.

Want bass? The speaker has to be able to produce 50hz and a strong amp to maintain the bass otherwise the speaker would start clipping.

Get second-hand "B&W S1" series speaker (Can be 601,602 or 607) and Fosi BT20A amp.
Your ears will thank you and that setup will last you for years, despite the low budget.
It costs slightly more then A2+ but way better than A2+ and even A5+

Get Bose companion 50…good stuffs…

No need, if your tower speaker has a big enough woofer cone.

I have two completely different setup.
PC -> Logitech Z407
TV -> Pioneer Home Theatre 5.1 Setup

For my Home theater which uses a AVR it have network feature.
So from PC can stream music to it no need to connect directly to it.
The speaker I use is Pioneer Andrew jones speaker, the speaker engineer
went to ELAC after leaving Pioneer.

Can share on why you end up choosing LGT Z407 speakers for your PC.
Seems like there are mixed reviews for LGT speakers.

Anyone using Logitech Z333 2.1 speakers? I using now after my beloved Creative T40 Series ii speakers died last month.

Can share on why you end up choosing LGT Z407 speakers for your PC.
Seems like there are mixed reviews for LGT speakers.

Wireless control, USB input, BT and 3.5mm.
Balanced sound, I don't know what review say.
The Logitech Z407 is a good choice for me around $100+.

PC speaker in my opinion don't really need to spend too much.
Cuz it still depends on the sound card you are using and source.
