I have a paid whatsapp on my iphone which is registered to my phone number, so now currently i have transfered over to android and the license says unknown.

My gf recently bought a android and it her license only gave one month.. not even a year... but anyway I delete the whatsapp on my iphone, re-download and activate using her number... put back to her android its still one month free only leh..

for those people who are concerned with ur whatsapp expiration date, do the following

1) get a friend with iphone (who doesnt mind getting its individual chat data deleted)
2) delete the whatsapp on his phone
3) redownload the whatsapp app from app store
4) key in YOUR number and wait for the activation code to be sent to ur android phone
5) key in the code on the iphone and activate
6) delete whatsapp again on the iphone and redownload it in the app store so ur friend can reactivate his number
7) on ur android devices, go to manage application and locate whatsapp. press delete data.
8) open whatsapp on ur android device and activate ur number
9) viola enjoy 10 years free subscription

unless I have to use another itunes account.. buy the whatsapp then register her number to it..

Im assuming each paid whatsapp app is only tied to one number...

Mod styles/themes, increase share files size, and more, with whatsapp plus.(still lacking icon notification)

*Snip*
Backup chats in prefs, uninstall original, than install plus. Will auto-restore threads on verification

Been using this Whatsapp mod, all i can say is the original whatsapp interface really looks ugly to me now:)

Used to have this problem until I realised it was partly because I always kill the whatsapp process in the background after I close the app.

Try to see in your running apps if the whatsapp process is still there.

I used to have this problem with my S3 which was on ICS then. Whatsapp messages incoming delayed like 15mins+, workaround is to either have it on Wifi or regularly check Whatsapp.
Called up SH to check their network and my S3 but after weeks of testing on both sides, still unable to conclude where the problem lies.

Then came JB for S3 and it solved this problem.

I suspect that it has to do with the firmware/modem.

I did change the modem then I think after that got this problem. then I flashed to the leaked jb, didn't like, so flash back to an ics version, then used kies to upgrade to official 4.0.4, did factory reset and clear cache, still the same..anything that might still be residual in the system that I can clear?

Not too sure if any of those would actually help.
While I was on ICS, I switch around many firmwares but none fixed the issue until the release of JB for S3.

I tried the leaked official jb for s2 also same. maybe have to wait for official jb release then try again.

Anyone tried having Whatsapp restored via titanium backup on one phone while having it enabled on another?

My Note 2 is on official JB, stock ROM, and these few days I'm experiencing the same problems. It's either the messages came in late, or there's simply no notifications at all. I had to go into the app itself before I see the unread messages there.

Can't really determine what's wrong...
