Not cut feature, but sts newer versions of any softwares can be more buggy. .
Really? I always thought the aim of updates is to fix bugs. What bugs did you discover in the new updates?

Or one could just use the market version...the one on market has usually been tested before release. It's the website version that's for testers. :D

for those people who are concerned with ur whatsapp expiration date, do the following

1) get a friend with iphone (who doesnt mind getting its individual chat data deleted)
2) delete the whatsapp on his phone
3) redownload the whatsapp app from app store
4) key in YOUR number and wait for the activation code to be sent to ur android phone
5) key in the code on the iphone and activate
6) delete whatsapp again on the iphone and redownload it in the app store so ur friend can reactivate his number
7) on ur android devices, go to manage application and locate whatsapp. press delete data.
8) open whatsapp on ur android device and activate ur number

Yep, I figured that out unknowingly. I first used Whatsapp on an iPhone, then moved over to Android. Now my expiration date is "Unknown" :)

Or if you go to the Apple store and use their display sets, maybe you can install Whatsapp on those and use it to activate your number. But you have to sign in with your account.

i'm new to andriod..
i have installed whatsapp and want to create a group chat...
where exactly is the 'menu' option?
at the top of the app, i can only see a search and a pen icon that leads to contact list..

Nope you are not missing anythin.. Its how whatsapp works. Just add that person in your contact list or ask the other person to start the conversation with you first.

It depends on what phone are you using. The menu button will appear at different location.
For eg. i am using Samsung Galaxy SII, the Menu Popup is via the touch-button on the bottom-left of the phone (it will only visible when touched). You can explore yours.

Ya I figured, which kinda sux cos I have to add every stranger that I want to whatsapp and then end up deleting them just after that 1-2 correspondences.
