Never paid once..but i did install whatapps on a jb iphone 3g .. then beta test whatapps on android before launch on market(play store)..

the last time i checked the expiry was 2020.. weird.

not sure if it still work though..

recently, Whatsapp is a free app on iTunes.. we should get an iTunes account anyway.. sometimes got paid apps for free.. just add those to your account.. =p

It is called "Auto-download images" with a checkbox.

My Note 2 is on official JB, stock ROM, and these few days I'm experiencing the same problems. It's either the messages came in late, or there's simply no notifications at all. I had to go into the app itself before I see the unread messages there.

Can't really determine what's wrong...

Having same problem on note 2 recently, upgrade firmware also no use, dont know why also. Maybe pray the next update will fix the problem.

It's free and lifetime with android, nothing to do with your ilite past.

I think it depends on the promo for whatsapp at the time you installed. I got it when there was a promo for free, so lifetime free now. anyway now got update to new version, nothing much changed.
