But it seems like to wait an hour before getting a new verification code on iPhone.
Or can receive through call from them, will it affect anything?

put ur simcard in iphone
download whatsapp/register ur number in iphone..once done take out simcard
put the same simcard in ur android phone, download whatsapp and register it with ur simcard.
will be lifetime now.
have done for over 20 sets from my friends/sistas/brudders..so far so good.

According to this link, such method does not work anymore.
I just did this iphone method 2 weeks ago with a brand new prepaid card and it works. Fyi.

So, has anyone paid for extended use beyond the "expiry date"?
I've used WhatsApp on Android devices for over 3 years & never noticed that there was an expiry date.
After it was brought to my attention, checked & found out that the "Service expiration" for my WhatsApp account is 13 Feb 2013...

But its not always lah.
Sometimes msg comes in, but it doesn't show any notification/vibration/ring till I unlock my phone and launch the app. The msg could be like few hrs earlier, not unknown to me...
I am guessing is it because I use atk kill apps too xiong?

I have this problem too...the notifications for new message sometimes do not pop up in my andriod...even other social apps also don pop up the notifications at time..not all the time though.
I asked my friend who uses samsung S3...have the same issue too...I'm using XiaoMi 2..
