2 shirts for $190 where u see 3?

where exactly is dreamland? maybe i will try sometime next month. already did 2 shirts this month already
i dont like all those bull**** sweettalk actually... lol
doesnt make me feel good... do it too much and comes across as being insincere

3rd level
up the escalator turn right. U know there is this shop which sells trucker caps and T-shirts which look abit hip hop wan? ard that corner.

Ok lah. She sounded sincere to me lor. And not too sales pitching also.
I dun like it when ppl just does it for sales, that sound more insincere to me than sweet talks.

When i collect my 2 shirts, and if they just fall on my nicely. I might consider getting a piece of floral material too.

Anyway, I just collected the 2 pants I did with those ah pek tailors at harbourfront hawker centre. Everything is ok, colors, length and waist. All ok.
BUT one mistake though. U know the area above the men's private part and below the waist (which i dunno call what). Its kinda tight for me... :( I find it hard to squat down!:s31:
The area where the zipper is. sigh... Dunno is whether my instructions werent clear enough or what. I told the tailor slim fit, not tight fit lor... :(
Tmr and tuesday i have night classes lor, hope can bring back to get it alter on wednesday evening...

If the store has a changing room, i would have done so and requested for the alterations on the spot le. But the place is THAT SMALL, so no changing area...
What to do. $90 for 2pairs lor. :p

Or else u think i too rich that I rather go tailor meh.
For me, all pants are pretty much looking the same. Basic is black for starter.

I hope I can go back to get that ah pek tailor to alter the pants...
Definitely will think twice going back there when I need to get new pants.

i think pants dont need to tailor pant.. unless it is ard $50 - 65 or unless dont have the colour you want...

( i have to tailor pants cos i always want to buy black pants... G2000 dont have any black pants that i like ... mostly is dark blue)

Tailor shirts is the most impt one.. better cutting/fitting and design

tell slim fit lor...
but different tailors have different views
so what is slim to some may not be slim to u
go to more modern/trendy tailors to make your clothes would be safer than very traditional tailors
have to try lor... bring some pics down to show if u want

Yesterday went dreamland to do my shirts. Oh boy was the aunt friendly :D Superb PR skills, able to communicate well with practically everyone. I was there for almost an hour and noticed how she talked to her customers. For my shirts I chose a neutral stripe colour as well as a floral pattern :( Hope it will turn out well.

I think its 100% cotton 2-ply. Stripes was $120 and the floral $80. Anyone tried making pants there? How was the outcome?

I think so far most ppl here only tried Tessutti, Men's Traditional and Personality.

This Dreamland tailor only "pop" up coz I mentioned I saw it on papers???

Actually I was thinking abt the floral fabrics.
When u roll up the sleeves, wouldnt the inside be something plain and not floral anymore???
At least thats what Amy the Dreamland's tailor told me...

IMO, their selections wont lose out to the 3 shops that are frequently mentioned here. Just floral fabrics, they already have SO MANY as compared to the others.

depends on the fabric... take a look at the fabric
often fabric are printed on 1 side... so the underside is usually not as clear as the front side.

I have seen some of the floral fabrics i like. They are all plain on the inside. Meaning if i roll up the sleeves, chances are that there is a portion is plain where as the rest are floral.

UNLESS i roll up the sleeves carefully making sure that the inside doesnt appear outside...:s22:

yo guys just went to cyc to tailor 2 shirts for cny, a bit last min so no time to tailor pants. But find the lady Marie very friendly n helpful. Made a white herringbone shirt 2 ply cotton 100, for about 170sgd and another 2 ply cotton yellow shirt for 90sgd was on promotion. I find it a bit hard to find good white cotton shirts, cos most of them are very translucent can see my two "bits", hopefully this 1 will turn out fine..
