Ya how do i express myself

Is like in 70s-hdb looks like a goal to work hard towards

then i see the newer btos, wtf bruh i tell you i really tell you i really got immediate flash backs of a camp mowxxx, only as visitor

The longer u drag
The smaller it becomes n the more expensive it will get
For other countries maybe got such things as crash but sg like not easy because majority holding on r locals also
Then now a lot of requirements for loan unlike the past
Salaries n age not enough cannot get

Ya some have their chutes outside but still the old methods of collection. That is additional costs for them.
Point blocks were constructed in the 70s with lots of raw materials. Those days it was the highest level of engineering for public housing. Ofc if you compare it with modern tech it doesn't matter what kind of flat when project like Pinnacle Duxton can go up to 50+ storeys.

my point block has the chute outside...

and about how high they go.. i dont think the type of blocks (point or not) determines how high the block can go.

For example blk 34 bedok, the old school HDB folks did a great job, like what happened.

I seen my friends BTOs in Tampine, the long corridor and metal grilles looks damn depression, this is just a personal opinion it kind of reminds me of DB, eerie vibes
You just need to look carefully at the estate plans when buying… there are still “point” blocks in new btos… just that they don’t stand out by itself like the past. It’s a similar layout, 4 units each floor share 1 lift…
