Their notion or idea of what is fair price for their produce may be different from yours or mine.
In any case they are not starving or barely scarping by like farmers in China/India, or getting fuarked badly by the blacks like their cousins in South Africa.

But prices are set by private developer. Our biggest retailer CapitaLand mall... ask them why so expensive yet still got so many tenants..
Where is your proof that majority are exploited? You talk about fairer treatment but really what you looking at is just a better life for yourself. Yet you unable to attain that on your own and want to achieve it through mandatory government policy.

If the available market for an SME is only domestic, it makes sense to stay as an SME.
Ability to scale must also be measured against market size potential.
