no choice ah, manpower crunch everywhere is the shipping f-ed up not the store. aliexpress is good though, you missing out a lot if you not gonna buy from there. Besides you can easily open dispute and get refund on aliexpress, unlike some local websites.

you can try taobao too if your chinese is okay, lots of the shops have direct shipping now.

My package which I previously mentioned went MIA since Apr 8 suddenly has an update on Apr 26, saying its handed over to 'last mile carrier'.

Luckily it didn't went MIA after all.

haha. let's see if it will suddenly show up again lor. will just aim for the KZ Z1 next. But don't know what they thinking. rated 2 hours battery life. lower than any of the previous KZ TWS. Just curious about how it would sound with their new driver only.

For this, I agree with Chester. Aliexpress, though slow in shipping usually, but their service recovery is quite good. I ordered something that is DOA and raised a case. The seller very quickly ship a replacement and didn't even ask me to ship the defective product back.

Rather... its Shopee that I exercise more caution with. Usually they ship fast. But when you press the checkout button, its 90% a button of no return. The seller can reject your cancellation even when they had not ship out the product yet. So, no change of mind.

Screenshot indicate already left country of origin... so I reckon is logistic transit problem... sometime these stuffs travel around the world... mine previous order for phone cases also lost track and suddenly reappear one month later.

Now Covid-19 pandemic you should expect some more delay... just be patient.

The triple tap probably triggers the lower latency "game mode"

For T5s..triple tap is to switch to gaming mode. Perhaps yours the same.

hmm... How do I tell if its really "gaming mode" ??? Is there a notification or sign which will indicate? Strange, but when I go into the app to customise tap, it doesn't show "gaming mode" as a customisable option...

Also, I realise the app is not smart enough to customise taps for calls too. The search function is crap too.

yeah. seller already ship out, so don't really blame them. not really in a hurry, but if by the cutoff time on aliexpress still not here yet, will just request refund nonetheless. kazuki666 ordered on taobao i think a week or 2 after I did, and he got his already, best part is it's the same carrier cainiao. I ordered other stuff like phone cases from china too on shopee, within a week reach SG already. My guess is lost package or what maybe. if they find it maybe then they continue shipping. Maybe due to covid19 there are a lot more ppl doing online shopping.

i tested the triple taps while listening to spotify. It was like a weird sound interruption, not really a beep, then music continue.

I think this may be qcy's first attempt to create an app for their earpieces. If the sound signature is ok for u, I suggest to keep the pair. Later app revisions may improve user experience and include an indicator to see if you are in gaming mode or not, generally based on user feedbacks.

And no where in the site or user manual states that we have to turn on gps/location services to connect the earpieces to the app. Its the user community who helps the company to make the app better.

not sure what their plans are yet though, or whether firmware updates can be pushed out to the earbuds through the app too. it would be good if it were able to. By the way for the app EQ is it user customisable or based on the defaults they provide only? it would be pretty awesome if the 10-band EQ is adjustable and the setting can be saved to the earbuds so it works for other devices without app too.

Yes, I bought mine from TB too and had defects but shipping back too expensive then the email set need to ship back to Singapore again in the end I bought from local seller which also gives 6 months of local warranty

I'm returning mine cus lazada has free return policy. One of the reason why I always prefer to use lazada

My experience was different. My order came to Sg then back to CN (Said so on tracking site). Open dispute with aliexpress and took them 2 whole months to refund after many exchange of emails. At first Aliexpress sided with seller and reject my refund request without checking the tracking of parcel.

This is my first time using taobao directly, without a freight forward like ezbuy. Now i just received my order for QCY T4, I see the taobao system is asking me to confirm receiving parcel. After I clicked received, it prompts me to login to Alipay what 6digits pin which I have no idea what is mine. After I used up the 3 tries, and clicked for "forget password", it prompts me to upload an ID scan to them for verification. Is this a normal process when using taobao? I don't feel comfortable sending a copy of my ID sia... If I don't proceed with this step, what will happen ah???
