Did you login with your account (stated you are based in SG yet), as it will show non vat price (-20%).
Ah so that's why it was so ex. Thanks a lot!

I ordered UK 8.5!
You ordered from robinsons? Shouldn't have such problen with herring as they are v prompt and professional.ah dammit. i am also in UK 8.5. Emailed them saying i wanted to switch to burgundy and won't mind the wait. Told them not to refund me because of the forex fees.
Been 24 hours, still no reply

Hi there,
Thanks for the info! But actually now Robinsons' is charging UKP214 for Churchill, so I would also have to pay GST + admin charges if I bought it now right? Robinsons also uses DHL?
So for Churchill did you downsize, do you think you have room for downsizing? I'm afraid if I don't downsize by 0.5 it will be too wide on the side, but I'm also worried that if I downsize, it'll be too tight lengthwise or at the heel.
That's true too. They need to justify their slight premium somehow!Robinson customer service a bit slower, but they will sure reply.
Herring of course no fight, super efficient.

How did you manage to scratch the leather so badly? I always assumed my random kicking around of shoes is bad enough!

As other members have mentioned copious amount of wax? Have you served in the army before in a combat role? When combat boots get scratched up beyond recognition kiwi always manages to salvage the boots. Same principle should apply.i honestly dont know...... sad la, so no way to fix this ah?
Nice work bro.... Stripping the colour is a bitch.... Glad your shoe survived.
Alvin what did you use to strip?

Good job, @alvinquah.
The 2nd pic shows the extent of the effort and the level of risk you took.
Good learning experience, and i must say very well executed.
