They are fine. The creases in shoes are inevitable (especially at around the area where the toes flex as you walk). However, creases in other parts of the shoes are normally a result of the type (or quality) of leather used. My 2cents.
Just nourish, clean and shine your shoes once a while. They will look better, no matter how they look before you start.
You are right that creases are inevitable, and they can be reduced by inserting shoe trees after every wear (and of course, shoe rotation).
Creases on the vamp and other parts of the shoes are largely due to our feets not fitting the shoe well enough, amongst other factors like quality/type of leather and manufacturing errors.
e.g. Singaporeans tend to prefer a roomier fit (as opposed to Europeans who will prefer their shoes snug), this may result in unsightly creases across the vamp.
e.g. Gents who tend to wear their shoes by pressing against the heel andor without using shoe horn. In the long run, these causes the heel counter to collapse, it wrecks the topline and results in creases, especially along the median (inner feet) side.
