Mibox 3 4k doesnt come with rj45 port. does your?

it does not have rj45 port.. but the ram is not even 1gb & the resolution is definitely not 4K..

for those who have ordered previously, may I know if it's normal for the item to stayed at "Your product has been packed and is ready to be shipped by the seller" status for > 9 days? I ordered on 19 Jan, but the status seems to stay at the same since 21 Jan.

Issue with live TV streams

Hi guys,

I just got my Xiaomi Box 3rd Gen. Whenever I use any live streaming app like HDP, CloudTV or Togic, most TV streams starts smoothly for the first 30 seconds and after that, it will hang with a message "Connection: 0KB/s" and it doesnt recover unless it switches to another source. However some apps like CLoudTV only have one source so it basically stops steaming. This happens for most of the steams and apps. Im on wifi with the box beside the router. Video on demand works OK.

Any solution? Thanks

install speedtest.net on your box and run a test to see whether you can get at least 10Mbps with local server. If cannot then need to change your wifi setup or use LAN.

Buy the USB to ethernet adapter

Need to get the appropriate adaptor else quite pointless.

some feedback their adaptor didn't work, some feedback adaptor speed is slower than wifi connection.

My adaptor is half the speed(50mbps) compared to my wireless AC connection(100mbps)

I switched back to wireless since then so that I can use USB + OTG for thumbdrive + bluetooth keyboard dongle.

I accidentally uninstall the xiaomi tv app from my jailbroken xiaomi box gen3 4k version...now once booted up, only the default icn tv app launch.

any idea how to re jailbreak it and install my apps again? or only way is to bring back to seller?

As a TV box, 1GB is more than enough. But the 4GB NAND may not be sufficient if you want to install many apks.

I see, where do you guys recommend getting from then along with subscription etc(if any)? And is it a good replacement for mio TV?
My parents watch it all day long, dunno which channel but it's those chinese reality show, singing, matchmaking stuff and of course, the news. Was hoping I can replace it with something cheaper.
