Hi fellow xiaomi box owners!

[question] Does anyone use TVMC app (a.k.a TV Add-ons = a custom package using XBMC gotham and preinstalled video add-ons)?

When I play movies or TV shows from Genesis / Icefilms /1Channel (whatever the sources chosen like 180upload, movreel, VK,...) the playback is interrupted every say 10 minutes  especially in the evening and a stupid picture then another picture (advertisement) is displayed asking you to press up or down to like it or not, and if press down it displays 不喜欢的图不出现咯!
This is really annoying and I didn't find in Internet any answer to what it is due or or to get rid of these interruptions.
=?> Anybody experiencing this too with TVMC?
=?> Is there the same with XBMC Gotham?

thanks a lot for your replies ;)

Xiaomi box 3 / Starhub fibre over WiFi / no VPN

mine is same, When I watch the "San Andreas" by 1chennal, it stop and download, even u switch to other input and watch channel 8 and then 10 or 20 min can come back and watch, it will run smooth for may be 2 to 5 min and then it stop and download. I don't kwon whether it is something to do with the bandwidth or other .

Mine too. Seems like I only has 2gb rom instead of 4gb rom.

why pay so much?

it is only $85 before discount from lazada. normally can get 10-15% discount if bought during weekend.

I thought the qoo shop selling 100+ with apps etc with root not bad? Does the lazada also install all the apps?

Pairing bluetooth

Hi, need help to pair bluetooth keyboard and trackpad (Apple) to my new mibox. When I try to pair bluetooth devices it can only detect my AppleTV and Mac. Are other Apple products like wireless keyboard not compatible?

Most qoo sellers only "jailbreak" the box. Their meaning of "jaibreak" is installation of a few apks, not root.

All the apks supplied can be obtained freely from internet.

Effectively, you are paying $30-50 for the installation of these free apks.

Help.

Have gotten a mini Mibox from a friend to help him setup. Problem is he forgot to pass me his remote. How do i sync/tag my own remote with his box? The remotes are all bluetooth.

Mini Mibox no USB port, so cannot plug in a physical mouse.

from miniliew' blog:
"Just in case that you lost the bluetooth signal. You can pair the bluetooth remote control by pressing the Home button and the Menu button and hold it for few seconds until you hear the beep sound. You have to hold the remote very near to the Mi Box mini."

File formats

Hello all

According to Xiaomi's website:
"When playing videos directly from flash or external hard drive,
the Mi box supports multiple HD formats such as MKV, AVI, MP4, MOV."
... may I know if anyone here have tried RMVB too? Thanks.

(I've emailed Xiaomi Singapore Customer Service Center and their reply: "Not sure") !?!
