I tried to follow the instructions but got stuck at the server address. Couldn't find a valid one to connect to. Which address u use for china server? The password and id is the 2 posted on the website right?

Edit. I manage to connect to one server but 认证 fails. Need to change other settings on mibox after connecting to the vpn?

google play store isnt very useful cos most of the good apps (for the tv box) are not in play store

See if you have the LAN port. if yes den you have the 小米盒子 标准版 aka MIbox 1S if not u have the 小米盒子 增强版 aka MIbox 2 aka Enhance aka Pro some even called it Mibox 3. the names depend who you ask.

Xiaomi officially has 2 version which is either the 标准版 or 增强版 since the very very 1st version was killed off

The official youtube from playstore requires google framework. It is possible to install but quite complicated.

There is another version called "google TV", it can be installed as per other apks.

U mean written on the unit or Internet? If Internet just goto xiaomi.com without the sg

If u have tuzi launcher just goto the setting and it will point to Ethernet just click open

I just now try using flyvpn super laggy... then after disconnected flyvpn can run iCNTV liao. Donno if I have found the loophole or iCNTV still fixing their geolock. Anybody got their mibox geolock can confirm?

Okay guys I found the loop hole for Mibox enhanced/pro version for firmware 1.3.44
Just using any free vpn service connect it successfully and run any movie to bypass the checking of IP first. Once completed you can stop playing the movie and disconnect the vpn service and watch any movie via iCNTV. Confirmed and tested already. But take note that once u completely shutdown your mibox u have to reconnect and repeat the steps to watch iCNTV. I do hope the it helps
