But look like most of you got it from the above seller though. My friend was contemplating on 2nd Gen sold at carousell then I showed him here he want get x-something something one. I thinking if really get from this seller basic will do if those additionals can get it from market ourselves?

I got mine from tmall. 130bucks from Qoo10 is absurd.

You can google XMBC and add repos like Mashup and NaviX.. All of them got support live Tv and Chinese channels. (FREE)

But are they HD channels?

So RCA cable and hdmi port can link? I only know hdmi cable. I don't know all these tech stuffs. I read rca is analog? Hdmi is digital? So to check simply just to confirm can Connect to crt tv type before I purchase and what else I need buy for setup.. haha

Friend, I don't think qoo10 will keep dropping price every two or three days within 2 wks. It's a mockery for them to do such a thing.

Looks very similar to Togic/VST with the P2P channel list. Supposed to be FOC. You can install it yourself.

btw i heard that after update it becomes unroot so you need to root again

I never do update myself. It will auto update. Can it be turned off like normal android apps at apps manager settings?

no need to root can install xbmc already. btw I just uninstall and reinstall xbmc again. now can startup already.

likely there is no difference. Local seller import from China and then just distribute the boxes to buyer.

Likely they bought those sets that has already have the apks pre-installed e.g. togic, vst etc..

Latest gotham .OK I disabled hardware acc settings ....Seems to be working fine now.
