Anyone recently experience this problem?
Also when I check the speed of xiaomi and the speed is basically near to
0 kb/s.

- "认证失效" on Xiaomi iCNTV

I think ICNTV got problem and is affecting some of the apps.

Please advise?

anyone using XBMC / Genesis on Mibox 3?

Why is it the streaming progress/duration bar won't display the correct timing(the slider stuck at 0:00 even after playing for a while) and dont move according to the movie play?

Can XiaoMi Box work with Singtel fibre?
If use VPN will it affect other connections? for example, my pc's connection.

Please advise. Thanks alot.:D:D

VPN only affect on the device that running the program. unless you setup your wifi router to have VPN, then the whole wifi signal is VPN.

power off your tv box. press and hold both home and menu button at the same time and point the controller toward your TV box. ON power and wait till it goes to recovery mode. you reset everything and restart. by do that, you should able to solve your issues.

most likely is your internet service provider, or do you run another program like VPN which might cause the problem

Actually need VPN or not, depends on what you want to watch using mibox. You need VPN if you want to watch from LeTV, Youku, iQiYi, etc because all these are based in China.
Qoo10 those premium channels are live stream IPTV which you may not need VPN to watch.

I am on M1 using 网趣云加速 recommended by imacbie bro here.
The website is wangqu.cc. This VPN is for china.
Its an app and very easy to use. Just open the app and press a button to activate/deactivate.
I am not sure about other VPN, still pretty new to android tv.
Does your current VPN has china server?
I have some questions, hope someone can help:
1. Seller 1stshop said VPN is "built in" into the box hence no need additional VPN to watch LeTV, Youku, etc. Is it correct?
2. If cannot and have to use 网趣云加速, have to pay VPN subscription right?
3. How about use this method instead of VPN?
在 Android 上使用 Unblock Youku 观看国内视频 – 尘埃è*½å®š
4. I am on M1 200 Mbps fibre. Anyone has experience is it lag to watch?

Thanks.

1. I see they say they installed a free VPN, not "built in"? No such thing as "built in" VPN.
2. No free lunch in this world
3. Never try before. But look like need to undo the wifi setting changes everytime you want to watch non-china stuff.
4. I am on M1 200 mbps too. Without VPN. Only LeTV can watch smoothly most of the time. Watch live EPL on Astro also no problem. Youku, iqiyi will keep buffering.

Thanks bro for the answers.

I am also puzzled why the seller said VPN is "built in".

You mean without VPN, you can watch LeTV and Youku directly?

Are you using wifi? I thought of getting the USB->RJ45 cable for wired connection but not sure if it helps.

Yes, I using aggregate app like VST, moli or pudding, without VPN can watch LeTV smoothly most of the time. Youku will keep buffering, not very watchable unless you change to low resolution quality.

Yes I using wifi, I got the USB -> RJ45 as well. If you got the Asus dual-band wifi router from M1, I think no need to get. I feel wifi is faster after testing.
