Hi there anyone got idea why my mibox screen suddenly shrink? Initially it was ok then today suddenly shrink....

Could be 2 reasons:

- Your TV screen setting
- Mi Box "Sound & Display" -> "Scale and position" setting

bro, you're right, it indeed came in 1GB ram when it came, did a quick check with official mi china website, theirs is also 1GB version now.

With only a HDMI connection, doubt this will be popular for most users unless it's super cheap.

no USB, no OTG, no Ethernet, no SD card, no 3.5mm audio jack.

only good thing i see is, it's super small + built-in bluetooth but the features removed put me off totally.

Honestly speaking if the 1Gb ram and slightly lower specs will run XBMC smoothly ... why not? SGD40+ android streaming box tht is super portable. Nuff said. I want one

Is the only way to watch it is to set up a VPN paid account? Is there any way to either crack the youku app itself, or find a complete free vpn, not the trial ones? Please help.

I recently switch to use Amazon FireTV. And it is great. The reason is, I can have Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime TV, Youtube, Vimeo, Shafa Desktop, PPTV, Youku, Shohu, LeTV, 光芒体育，小豆直播, CloudTV, etc etc all IN ONE SINGLE BOX. In addition, can play excellent Games too. hahaha

I've just received the MiBox 3 from Lazada (Usb port behind no Lan port) and I have been reading up and trying to figure out how to convert the text from Chinese to English.

I don't speak a word of chinese and I have seen some links but the apk links at those sites are dead.

Please do help me and I will also need to sideload apps.

Guys, last time I have installed a remote app for Mibox which you can cast your TV screen to your Android phone and you can touch on your phone screen to fill up textbox, browse site, etc.

I have tried installed the last Mibox Remote version 4, but this new one doesn't have the feature to duplicate the screen anymore. Anyone can recommend a good remote app to control your Mibox?

Mibox 3, apparently had a UI update before I can get to it, and now I cannot even find the way to go into the default Android Settings. The option is GONE from the mi store!

The Android Settings was the only lead I had to getting the UI in english.

Now what do I do? Paperweight? >_<'

I use the remote app that shows up in Shafa launcher, sorry dunno how to say name as I cannot read Chinese but it works as you mentioned.

You just need XH Home launcher to change to English, the other apk are not necessary.
