updated to V7.2.3
Took a heck of a long time to update... Was worried it would crash.
Disappointed that it wasn't Android Marshmallow... :(

Xiaomi has given up on Mi4i for Marshmallow. You're better off going to ntuc and buying the real stuff.

I updated yesterday from 6.1.8 to 7.3.2, thinking it was the long-awaited Marshmallow. Furthermore it was described as the 'Stable ROM'
Kena played out... :eek:
Don't see any improvement so far. Need to use phone for few more days to monitor battery life etc.

Just checking how many folks experience loss of network connection when transiting from a WiFi connection to a 3G/4G one.

For example, I would leave home and drive to work. When I reach the office I would check my phone and realize it has no network connection.
Rectified by reboot, or switching to airplane mode and back again.
Am using MIUI 7.2.3.0 (LXIMIDA).

my miui ver is 7.2.3 you d/l 7.3.2 from 3rd party site?

Is Miui7 bug. Miui6 is ok.

I factory reset the phone and it was extremely hot at the back and at one point hang with black screen during the MIUI 7 setup. Managed to recover by rebooting. Performance is definitely not as smooth as before.

Yes, unfortunately the updates usually take about 5-10mins, sometimes even longer but it will go through. I would usually take a shower while waiting.

Be careful about manually rebooting when it is still initialising. The last time I did that, it went into a bootloop.
