Now got v8.0.1.0 but after 100% download, it says unknown source then ask me redownload. Tried twice also cannot. Anyone successful with the new update?

Can someone confirm xiaomi server got problem? I wanted to use the cable method to update, and went to their website to find rom but turn out that the webpage got problem. Not sure how fast they will remedy it. Is there alternative source?

Why do you want to change new one? Spoilt?

After using for a year, my mi4i auto shut ( battery level at 50%). Need to charge it in order to "ON" it. Battery drain/use up fast. I suspect battery faulty.

go online and see how people change it, the back cover is not glued even tho it looks so

It took me 30 min to download and reboot from v6.x.x to v8.0.1.0

So far so good.

I think redmi 3 better, same screen size as mi4i but got 4000mah battery

Battery ebay has. Guess may be diy is better. Searvh youtube and you can find the procedure.
