Thanks for this. Have this issue of Spotify refusing to advance to the next song unless I open the app, wondering if it's an app issue, or a phone issue, or otherwise.

It could be battery and background setting issues. Certain apps need to be "free" from MIUI battery saving and background job conrrol optimization.

There are few battery and background settings that can be changed to bypass such apps issues.

Anyone has done any research on whether is Mi Max 2 worth it? As in comparing to MI Max 128 GB at 319 vs Mi Max 2 at ard 419 (after discount etc).

Main tussle is whether is it worth the cost difference. Thanks.

Change these 3 settings:

> This is a global setting, meaning the whole phone and all apps. I set it to OFF as the 4850mha battery is more than enough for me. I don't need any battery saving.




2. (Security > Battery):
> Spotify app only




3. (Security > Permissions > Autostart):
> Put the Spotify app into Autostart



Last but not least, reboot your phone after that.

Did u check whether the initial playback was ok? I had problem when playing mp3. The music initially ok, after a while it started to break up etc. The issue resolved after I disable the power management on that music app.

what capacity ? if 2/16gb it's not a good price ....


local set you get covered for manufacturing fault during the first year .... if you drop or crack the screen it's user fault not manufacturing fault
tradeoff is ~50% higher cost than the promo price of export sets

export set means u leave it up to luck .... what matters more is the firmware inside is china rom or global rom
