Tired of waiting for Nougat! Decided to jump into the Beta (eu rom Beta 7.7.20 China based rom though).

Not bad! At least got Quick Charging siol!

Now my Mi Max Prime charges like a Ferrari engine or at least on par with the new Mi Max 2!

Global Prime got official Global Beta 7.7.20 now meh or was it the old 7.6.8? I thought only China beta rom 7.7.20 for China Prime only?

Yes. Depending on which rom. I think Nougat rom enabled it liao.

I'm using 7.5.25 (25th May 2017) Global Beta. The Global Beta for Mi Max has been Nougat since Jan 2017, i think.

I think I will flash to eu rom 8.5.1.0 China Prime tomorrow for a working Google map location.
