Impossible with Mi Max 3 as there are too strong the competition of big screen of more than 6" models out there now.

However, I have been using Mi Max 3 for about a week now and it is a worthy upgrade from Mi Max 1 and 2 for sure.

Among the improvements, the dual camera on on Mi Max 3 is insanely good!

**This photo was taken in 18:9 frame. Imagine that if it was taken in 4:3...The resolution and quality would be much better than this.

I shall say no more here. Else, later people say I'm a Xiaomi Mi Max series promoter again. Lol...

But its too hugeeeeee. MI Max 3 will face serious competition from Honor Note 10. Dual speaker Dolby with HDR10 screen etc etc. Should be able to beat MI Max easily.

Personally I feel that Mi Max 3 and Honor Note 10 are targetted at different customer. The latter is obvious targetted at users who wants the higher specs that they can get.

Dropped my Mi Max and now cannot turn on using power switch. Goes into bootloop when connected to charger. Anyone can help or can recommend a repair shop in AMK/Bishan? Thanks.

If data is not important, can use Miflash to perform the flashing..

Thanks for quick reply. Data-wise, only have pixs (most in SD card), WhatsApp messages, and SMS to worry about. Possible to use Miflash when phone can't be powered on? How?

it's possible, here u go....but pls try out various method to check if your phone able to proceed to user mode before using miflash..

drop n boot loop? my mi max drop more than 10 time no issue.. perhaps cable fell loose inside.

Opened up and look-see but nothing seemed loose. Tried bootflash but bunny disappears when I unplug from charger and try to connect to PC.

Home and menu button not responding all of a sudden. Any body have similar problem or know how to fix?

Edit : in the process of trying to fix, I found this second space feature and seems like both home and menu button is working when in second space but not on original launcher. Any clues?

Try to find the home launcher app in the system to reset the app by clearing the data.

Did this but menu and home button still not responding. Both buttons works in second space though and there is tactile feedback when the buttons are tapped so discounting hardware issue.

Google for the solution and it seems to be pointing to using Nova launcher to access Android setup wizard.

I tried installing Nova launcher, look for add activities widget in order to access Android setup wizard. However I couldn'tfind setup wizard and turn out that it was disabled. I had to go to apps to enable it before I was able to add the wizard.

However when I try to run the wizard, I get the message app isn't installed! However out of the blue,the problem got fixed!!!

So still not sure what caused the problem and not sure if I would be able to replicate the steps to resolve if it recurs.
