bump, all migrated too mm3?
Never encountered any speaker issue on both of my sets with fw 9.5.4.0...My set speaker set at 75% quite audible and doesn't have the degradation... Perhaps time to move on to M3 :)

My screen got issue. Export set can go xm centre? I dun mind paying.
Or go ah beng shop can repair?
Or buy new?

Export set can only go ah beng shop. Xiaomi wouldn't repair for you even if you throw them money.

Careful and it's a must to put screen protector....3rd times saving the screen while doing business at WC....Be it M1, M2 or M3 :)

My brother's Mi Max cannot stay on for more than 2 minutes.

If need to switch on again, I had leave it untouched for a day before the button will respond with screen.
Tried wipe erase. Not helping after hard reset.
No able to go to the page to unlock bootloader. Not enough time to do so, since setting new phone took too long.

What are the likely problem?
Battery? MainBoard? or Flex ribbon for Power Buttons?
Taobao replacement parts are cheap if I knew what to replace.

My mom’s mi max battery bloated liao. Haiz gotta change battery...diy easy? Where can we buy the tools locally? Thanks.
I bought from aliexpress , first one in august from smaller seller , missing parcel and refunded
nohon bm49

second one I bought from big seller during 11.11 , arrived today , 13 days

now black friday got discount again , about USD 10.59 + 3.60 shipping = USD $14.30 , can use shopback get back 7% or $1 , shopback got bias for search result will purposely show higher priced listing and hide lower priced listing , go back aliexpress front page to click "recent previously browsed item"

if you urgent and willing to pay cost+more , I can let you have my battery first

Thanks for the heads up krabs. That’s really helpful. I’m gonna order it. The bottom half of the screen is now lifted by itself due to the bloated battery but i’m afraid to lift it up completely in case I break anything. Noob question, how do we know the battery is genuine?
